This Privacy Policy explains how HyperWare ("HyperWare," "we," "us," or "our"), the parent company behind HyperBot, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Discord bot, Twitch bot, the HyperActive Sportsbook & Casino, HyperBot Pro, and the Admin Dashboard at admin.hyperbothub.com (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account and identity data

When you sign in through Discord or Twitch OAuth, we receive basic account information such as your user ID, username, avatar, and the servers or channels you administer. We use this to authenticate you and associate settings with your communities.

Server and channel configuration

We store the settings you configure, including AutoMod rules, blocklists, ticket and reaction-role setups, custom commands, notifications, and other feature configuration for your Discord servers and Twitch channels.

Operational and moderation data

To provide moderation and community features, we process data such as message metadata, moderation actions (deletes, timeouts, bans), support-ticket contents, event logs, and engagement metrics. We aim to store only what is needed to operate the requested features.

Economy and casino data

For the in-community economy and the HyperActive Sportsbook & Casino, we store virtual-currency balances, transaction history, and game or bet activity. This currency is virtual and has no real-world monetary value.

Payment data

If you subscribe to HyperBot Pro, payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive limited billing details such as subscription status and the server the subscription applies to, but we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

Technical data

We may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, and log data when you use the Admin Dashboard, for security, diagnostics, and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service and its features;
• To authenticate you and apply your configuration to your communities;
• To perform moderation, notifications, tickets, economy, and casino functions you enable;
• To process HyperBot Pro subscriptions and related billing;
• To monitor, secure, and improve the Service and prevent abuse; and
• To communicate with you about the Service, including important changes.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With service providers — such as hosting, database, and payment processors — who process data on our behalf under appropriate obligations;
• With Discord and Twitch, as necessary to deliver the bot's functionality through their APIs;
• Within your community, where features are designed to be visible (for example, leaderboards, welcome messages, or moderation actions); and
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of HyperBot, its users, or the public.

4. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as your community uses the relevant feature, or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. When you remove HyperBot from a server or unlink a Twitch channel, associated configuration and operational data may be deleted or anonymized, subject to reasonable backup and legal-retention periods.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. HyperBot Pro subscribers can export server tickets and event logs as CSV from the Admin Dashboard. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You can also stop most processing by removing HyperBot from your server or unlinking your Twitch account.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age of digital consent in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. International Users

The Service may be operated from, and data processed in, countries other than your own. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on Discord, Twitch, payment processors, and other providers, each governed by its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the policies of any third-party platform you use alongside HyperBot.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
