What's New

HyperBot 5.2.0

The biggest moderation and community update yet — a complete moderator toolkit, an AutoMod that's much harder to slip past, raid protection with proper after-action reports, and eleven new community features. The casino gets Craps, buy-in tournaments and VIP high-roller poker, /learn teaches any table game without a wager, and your members get a HyperBot Card that follows them across every server. Streamers get an end-of-stream recap posted straight into Discord, and the Strike System now runs in Twitch chat too. Every feature below is clearly marked Free or Pro.

Moderation — Free For Everyone

No upgrade needed, available in every server

A Complete Moderator Toolkit

Free

Your moderators no longer need Discord's own permissions handed out just to do their job. /ban, /kick, /timeout, /unban and /note all run off your configured moderator role — with proper safety rails, so nobody can action someone ranked above them. Set /timeout to 0 minutes to lift a timeout early, and use /note to leave a private staff note that the member never sees.

One Moderation History Per Member

Free

Answering "what has this member actually done here?" used to mean checking four different places. /history now shows one merged timeline — every ban, kick, timeout and note, alongside their warnings, AutoMod hits and any timeout appeals, newest first. Optionally DM members when action is taken against them (off by default, so nothing changes until you turn it on).

Strike System — Now With Warning Decay

Free

Moderators warn members with /warn and manage histories with /warnings, and you set escalation rules from the Strike System dashboard tab — 3 warnings for a timeout, 5 for a kick, 7 for a ban. New in this update: warnings can now expire. Set a decay period with /warnings decay 30 and a mistake from six months ago stops counting against someone, while still staying visible in their history. Escalation is also more reliable — if two warnings land at once and push a member straight past a threshold, that rule now still fires instead of being skipped.

Anti-Raid Protection

Free

HyperBot watches for join floods automatically. Turn it on with /antiraid enable, set your own threshold and window, and choose how it responds — kick the flooding joiners, sound the alarm, or (Pro) trigger a full Emergency Lockdown. An optional minimum-account-age check can also kick brand-new accounts on sight. Raid protection now also survives a restart: if the bot is restarted or redeployed mid-raid, it picks up exactly where it left off instead of standing down.

Timeout Appeals

Free

Members can appeal a timeout instead of just waiting it out. The moment someone is timed out by AutoMod or a moderator, they get a DM with an "Appeal this timeout" button, which opens a private channel for staff to review and Approve or Deny. Timeouts from an Emergency Lockdown are deliberately left out — a lockdown lifts them for everyone the moment it ends, so there's nothing to appeal, and your staff never get buried in appeal requests in the middle of a raid.

Raid Reports

Free

After a raid is over, HyperBot posts a one-page report to your log channel: exactly who joined, how old each account was, how many were under a day old, and what happened to each of them. Previously all you got was "12 joined in 60 seconds" — and by the time you went looking, the accounts had been kicked and were no longer lookup-able. The report covers everyone who arrived during the raid, not just the account that triggered it, because the ones who slipped in afterwards are the ones worth checking.

Mod Activity Dashboard

Free

A new dashboard tab that answers questions about your own staff, not just your members: how many actions each moderator took, how many timeout appeals were granted versus denied, how long modmail threads take to resolve, and a day-by-day chart of moderation volume. A high appeal-overturn rate is the number to watch — it tells you timeouts are landing on the wrong people. Everything is read from records HyperBot already keeps, and it's scoped to your own server.

AutoMod, Upgraded

Six new rules — each off until you turn it on

The Discord AutoMod now runs the same engine as the Twitch bot, which means it's much harder to slip a blocked word past it — and it finally covers the rules servers ask for most. Every rule below is off by default, so nothing about your current setup changes until you switch one on with /automod rule. Tune the thresholds with /automod limits and check everything at a glance with /automod status.

Invite Link FilterBlocks invites to other servers, including discord.gg, discord.com/invite and the vanity shorteners that redirect to them.
Free
Spam & Flood ProtectionCatches the same message posted over and over, and members sending too many messages too quickly.
Free
Mass Mention LimitStops one message pinging half your server. Counts distinct members and roles, so quoting someone doesn't count twice.
Free
Excessive CapitalsTrips on genuine shouting only — punctuation, numbers and short messages like "OK" are ignored.
Free
Emoji SpamCatches emoji walls, counting both custom server emoji and standard ones.
Free
Blocked Attachment TypesBlocks executables and scripts by default, and catches disguised files like photo.png.exe. Bring your own list if you'd rather.
Free
Evasion-Resistant Word MatchingCatches b a d w o r d, b-a-d-w-o-r-d, B4DW0RD and accented or invisible-character tricks — all as the same word.
Free
Channel, Category & Role ExemptionsSkip AutoMod entirely in #memes, across a whole category, or for a trusted role — without switching a rule off server-wide.
Free

These rules remove the offending message and quietly tell the member why — they never ban or time anyone out on their own. Your blocked-word list keeps its own per-word actions exactly as before.

Eleven New Community Features

All free — switch on the ones you want, from the dashboard or Discord

A whole set of community tools, all off until you ask for them. Open the new QOL Features tab on your dashboard to see every one of them in a list, with a switch and its own settings on each card — or run /features list and /features enable in Discord if you'd rather. Nothing here starts running on its own.

AFK Status/afk — set an away message. Anyone who mentions you gets told you're away and for how long; your next message clears it automatically.
Free
Reminders/remind me 2h take the pizza out — plain-English timing like 30m, 1h30m or 2 days. Reminders survive restarts, and you can list or cancel your own.
Free
Birthdays/birthday set — HyperBot announces birthdays in a channel you pick, on your server's own timezone. Optional birth year shows their new age.
Free
Polls/poll create — up to five options with one-click button voting, live result bars, and optional auto-close. One vote each, and members can change their mind.
Free
StarboardReact with ⭐ (or any emoji you choose) and popular messages get reposted to a highlights channel. Un-star it and the post comes back down.
Free
Suggestions/suggest new — members post ideas with 👍/👎 voting, and staff approve or deny with an optional reason shown right on the suggestion.
Free
Application Forms/apply — build staff or role applications with your own questions. Members answer in a clean pop-up form, and submissions land in a staff channel for review.
Free
ModmailMembers DM HyperBot and it opens a private thread with your staff. Replies relay straight back to their DMs, and staff can leave internal notes the member never sees.
Free
Achievements33 unlockable badges across chatting, reactions, commands, voice time, voice games and levels — from your first message to 50,000 of them. Members check theirs with /achievements, and there's a server leaderboard. Unlocks are announced privately to whoever earned them, not posted in the channel.
Free
Daily QuestsFour rotating objectives a day that pay out in your server currency. Everyone in the server gets the same set, and each one pays the moment you finish it — nothing to claim.
Free
Voice Games/vcgame — seven games for the people already sitting in a voice channel, played in that channel's own chat: trivia, word scramble, emoji riddles, guess-the-flag, quick maths, odd one out and a pure reaction race — plus a mixed mode that draws from all of them. One command runs a whole session — question, answer, next question — with a live scoreboard, and it stops on its own if the room moves on. First correct answer wins a small payout, a win streak pays more, and whoever tops the scoreboard takes a bonus. Nobody wagers anything.
Free

Quests and voice games hand out currency without anyone betting for it, so there's a daily ceiling of 10,000 per member across both combined — enough that nobody notices it in normal play, and enough that nobody can grind an evening into an unlimited balance. It resets at 3 AM ET, the same time as /daily, and /quests today shows how much of it you've used. A quest you finish after hitting the cap isn't lost — it waits, and /quests collect picks it up once the cap resets. Casino winnings don't count towards it — you staked your own currency for those.

At The Casino

A new table, tournaments, VIP stakes, and a way to learn the rest

Craps

Free

A real craps table, run on shared dice — up to six players betting on the same roll. Pass Line, Don't Pass, Field, Any Seven and Any Craps, with the point riding across rolls exactly like the floor version: a Pass Line bet that hasn't resolved stays live to the next roll at no extra cost. The board shows the point as a puck and keeps a marker board of the last ten rolls, the lobby lists every payout so nobody has to go looking them up, and the dice pass to the next player on a seven out. The table auto-rolls every 30 seconds so it never stalls, and one player is enough — run it solo and you're the shooter. /games crapstable, $1–$5,000 a roll, with full rules in /casinorules craps.

High Stakes Poker & VIP Tables

Free

The VIP high-roller band used to be blackjack only. Now poker has one too, and both games have a VIP table so high rollers can play each other instead of only the dealer. /games highstakespoker is Texas Hold'em against the dealer, and /games highstakespokertable and /games highstakesblackjacktable seat up to six players — all three in the same $500–$1,000,000 band as High Stakes Blackjack. Same hands, same rules, same tables you already know; just the stakes are different. Boosters, level perks and casino XP don't apply at VIP stakes, so nobody's multipliers are burned on them either. Each stake level has its own switch on the dashboard, so you can run the standard tables and leave the VIP ones closed.

Learn Any Table Game, For Free

Free

Until now, the only way to find out how baccarat or craps works was to put currency on the table and lose some of it. /learn walks you through a real hand instead — one decision at a time, with the reasoning explained as you go. Five games (blackjack, poker, craps, higher-or-lower and baccarat), each with a hand you win, a hand you lose, and a hand that pushes, so you get to see every outcome rather than hoping one turns up. Pick a bad option and it tells you what it would have cost before letting you choose again. Nothing here is wagered and nothing is paid out, it works even while your casino is closed, and the replies are private so nobody has to learn in public.

Casino Tournaments

Free

Run a "Friday night high roller" and let the pot build itself. A moderator sets a name, a length and an entry fee with /tournament create; every buy-in goes into a prize pool, and when the clock runs out it's split between the top finishers automatically. Entrants play the normal tables — the tournament ranks them on how much they made during the window, so any game counts. Rank by net winnings, total wagered, or biggest single win, and set your own prize split like 60/25/15. Withdraw before it starts and your buy-in comes straight back. Free servers get one tournament a month; Pro raises the limit.

The HyperBot Card

Free Pro themes

Your wallet has always followed you between servers; now everything else does too. /profile shows one card for a member — balance and global rank, prestige, daily streak, lifetime casino record across every server, highest level reached, achievements unlocked and their linked Twitch account. Add a tagline of your own with /profile tagline, and pick from six colour themes with /profile theme — Midnight and Slate are free everywhere, and the other four are unlocked on a Pro server. Members who've hidden themselves from leaderboards stay hidden here too.

Season Recap Cards

Free

When a casino season ends, HyperBot posts a podium card to your casino channel — and any member can pull their own with /season card: final rank, score, games played, biggest win and whatever they took home. It works after the season has finished, which is when people actually want it, and the prize figures are read back from the results as they were announced.

New This Update — HyperBot Pro

Included with Tier 1 and up

Twitch Clip Auto-Post

Pro

Link your Twitch channel and pick a Discord channel — HyperBot automatically posts new clips there as they're created, so your community never misses a highlight. Now supports more than one destination: one channel on Tier 1, two on Tier 2, three on Tier 3. Add and remove them with /clips add and /clips remove.

Named Invite Links

Pro

Give any invite link a friendly name so you can see exactly where your members come from. Admins name an invite with /nameinvite set — the command autofills with your server's currently active invites, so you just pick one from the list and type a label like "Twitter Promo" or "YouTube Bio". From then on, whenever Resolve Invite is turned on, the member-join log reads Invite Used: Twitter Promo instead of a raw code. Manage them with /nameinvite list and /nameinvite clear. Included from Tier 1.

Temp Text Hubs

Pro

The text-channel counterpart to temp-voice hubs. Post a panel with /texthub create and members get a button to spin up their own private text channel — theirs to invite people into with an Add/Remove menu, and close whenever they're done. Included from Tier 2, with a cap of 3 hubs on Tier 2 and 5 on Tier 3.

For Streamers

Free for every linked Twitch channel

Twitch Warnings & Auto-Escalation

Free

The Strike System your Discord moderators use now works in your Twitch chat too. Mods warn a viewer with !warn <user> <reason>, pull up their history with !warnings <user>, and pardon with !unwarn or !clearwarns — so the third incident doesn't look like the first to whichever mod is on that night. Set the ladder from the new Warnings card on your Twitch dashboard — three warnings for a 10-minute timeout, five for a ban, whatever fits your channel — and HyperBot applies it the moment someone reaches a threshold. Warnings can expire too (!warndecay 30), and every warning lands in your AutoMod action log alongside everything else.

Twitch Stream Recaps

Free

When your stream ends, HyperBot posts a recap card into every Discord server that follows your channel — how long you were live, peak viewers, how many people chatted and how much, points awarded, clips created, and your top five chatters. Turn it on from the Discord Stream Recap card on your Twitch dashboard. It's off for every channel until you switch it on, because the card names your chatters and that's your call to make, not your Discord admins'.

Pro Tier Limits

What changed this update

Everything in the community, AutoMod and casino sections above is free. Pro remains an optional upgrade for servers that want more headroom — all three tiers unlock the same Pro tools, and the difference is how much of each you get. Three lines changed this update.
